Just an update

Filed under: TSK — Dan @ 11:18 am

So much has happened since I last wrote here. I guess the first place to begin is that we hatched out more hypo Mojave’s. Take a look at these balls. I will get a pic of the year old hypos here soon but I believe these are the best morph out there. The hypo Mojave just glows.

Hypo, Hypo Mojave & Mojave

This pics shows the hypo, Mojave & the Hypo Mojave. Looking at the hypo I would say it is orange hypo. So if it is that will be good news for everyone wanting to produce this morph. Needless to say we are real pleased with it. Last year we produced 1.3 hypos this year we did the same thing. So I will be offering a pair for sale this year.

Next one the list is the Daytona show. Was that a ride. Wow never been in a hurricane before and I am not in a hurry to do it again. Believe it or not I will take the earth quakes in California. You have all heard about it already so I will not go into too many details. We took some pics of the destruction around town.

I hate it when this happens!

By far the best one I saw was this one of an airplane hanger. The force of wind is just amazing. No doubt natured is to be respected.

The show was great for us. Despite the hurricane it is the best we have ever done in Daytona. So we were really pleased with the show. Saturday attendance was on the low side but Sunday seemed about normal to me but who knows. I enjoyed seeing our friends there and meeting the new people I did not know. Except for the water front room that really became a waterfront room we had a good time. What I mean by that is we had to change rooms after it became flooded from the storm. The water just bubbled under the sliding door due to the pressure and flooded the room. Any ways good bye Charlie.

Now we are back home and two days later I went in for surgery. I had to have my shoulder worked on to get my motion back. Yesterday I got the staples out and so I am feeling better. Now I just have to do a lot of stretching. So far so good, I had the other shoulder done a few years back and it is great. So that is about all for now. I will be updating the available pages soon. If you are looking for Mojave’s, Hypo Mojave’s, Het Ivories, Axanthics or double het snows give me a call.

Snake in the rack…………………..

Filed under: TSK — Dan @ 11:17 am

So here is one for you, guess where we lost a snake to a few days ago? Down the top of a freedom breeder unit. You know the square hole on all four corners. Yep that little dude escaped out a fallen cage and went for cover. We devised a trap for him and gave him a few days but to no avail. So today I went fishing. Well if you are an electrican you would understand. I lifted the unit and pulled off the wheel and got out my fish tape for wire pulling and sent it up the rack. Well that passed him so we had a little girth to it and we sent it back up after adding a extra 12 inch piece of metal tubing to the rack. Then after going fishing we pulled the extra piece off and we had caught the little snake. It was really funny but really stop up the holes on the top of your units before it happens to you.

So you waiting for some Mojave news? We have HYPO MOJAVES hatching right now. These look even better then the ones last year. Wait till they are out of the egg and we will get some pics of them. We will have some for sale so if you are interested let me know. Still two male mojaves available as well. Call to get pricing.

So lets talk spiders balls. I just have to voice my opinion here on this one. Why are people selling females for so little? These people are really going to be hurting when they realize that those same females are going to be in demand for all the spider crosses. Just think of the spihave (oops sorry Wes) I mean the Spider Mojave. Or the many other crosses that have yet to be done. People do not want to use their morph females to a spider male you want to breed your morph males to your spider females. These females are worth way more than what some of these people are asking. I know there is no super spider but that does not matter. The bumble bees etc. are what make them worth something. Those females are going to be worth more than males just like the pastels but by the time people are done running them into the ground it will be too late. Kick that normal off the shelf and put that spider in it’s place. You will be happy you did. Okay I feel better now that I said that, I been telling people that on the phone for the past several days.

So you ready for Daytona? You should be, from what I hear it is going to be some fun. You know there will be lots of drama and everything that goes with it. I bet we will see some good buys there as well. Were ready well not really but we will when it is time. I have to have a good time as soon as I get back I am going in for surgery on my shoulder. That is not going to be any fun but not doing it is just hurting too much. Did the one shoulder a few years ago so it is time. Well that is all for now. See you in Daytona. Oh Colette just came in and the Mojave males have shed so I will get pics tomorrow. Last chance to buy before Daytona.

Pastel Jungles Hatching

Filed under: TSK — Dan @ 11:16 am

The BallCam is working looking at some pastel jungles hatching. Check them out. Been real busy trying to get ready for the Daytona show next week. So much to do when you have to travel 3000 miles to a show. I am hoping that the hypo mojaves hatch before we head out there. I would love to bring some out to the show but they would probably be in the blue then any ways. I do not think we will be bringing too much out there we still have not hatched out too many snakes yet this season. Here is a short list of what we have available.

Mojaves- I am letting one pair go right now. A yearling female at 350 grams from late 2003 and a 2004 male. So if you have been waiting the right package to come along this may be it.
If you need a single male I can work out something on that as well.

Axanthics- We have everything from hets to double hets to axanthic het albinos available. Let me know what you can use.

Het Red Axanthic- Two males available. If you think they are cool and you want one let me know.

Het Ivory- I have two males available right now. The ivory is really one of the best snakes we have in our collection. So unique everyone just loves to see it.
That is just a short list of what we have available. There are some other great things for sale on the available pages of our site. That is all for now. Time for bed 4:22am.
