Venir Agreement

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:00 pm

The main complacency of the present is perfect, stemming from the agreements concluded with the pastparticipe./p> She told me that she will have come to see us. (She told me she would have liked to come and see us.) In your place, I did the same thing. (In your position, I would have done the same.) I was happy to come to the party. I wish I had come to the party. In your place, I would be at the police station! (If I had been in your shoes, I would have gone to the police station!) Becoming is not related to the English verb “divine”, but normally means to become or to occur. What just happened? What happened in the recent past can be explained by the construction-Venir of + Infinitiv, the French equivalent of “just do”. All these verbs are conjugated in the same way as Venir, which is irregular in almost all its simple forms. .
